Terms of Use

Last updated: October 1, 2026

These terms govern the use of the Yetty mobile application and the yettyapp.com website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree with them, don't use the service. For any questions: support@yettyapp.com.

0. Who provides the service

Yetty is developed and operated by Gonzalo Rodríguez Monterroso and Daniel Tijeras Casado.

Contact: support@yettyapp.com

1. What Yetty is

Yetty is a travel application that generates personalized itineraries with artificial intelligence, offers a social map with points of interest published and rated by the community, real-time alerts confirmed or denied by other users, mini-games, and an internal currency ("paw prints"). The service is offered in Spanish and English.

2. Your account

  • To use Yetty you need to create an account with truthful information.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for whatever is done from your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app. How your data is handled after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Minimum age

You must be at least 14 years old to create a Yetty account. This is the age from which Spanish law allows a person to consent on their own behalf to the processing of their own personal data (art. 7 of Organic Law 3/2018). If you reside in a European Union country that set a higher threshold — 16 in Germany and the Netherlands, 15 in France — and haven't reached it, you need authorization from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.

Some features are age-restricted. In particular, contact-information exchange between users is only available to people 18 or older, and the restriction is enforced on the server: it protects minors both from giving out their contact and from being asked for it.

Your date of birth is declared once, at registration, and cannot be changed from the app. If you made a genuine mistake entering it, contact support.

If we detect or are informed that an account belongs to someone under 14, we will delete it along with their data. If you're a parent or legal guardian and believe such an account exists, write to us at support@yettyapp.com and we'll handle it as a priority.

We don't verify age with identity documents, and that's a deliberate decision: processing an identity document would mean collecting a far more sensitive piece of data than the one it protects. What we do is ask for the date of birth once, check it on the server, and prevent it from being changed from within the application.

4. Accuracy of data and age

By registering, you declare that the information you provide is truthful, in particular your date of birth. It's prohibited to misrepresent your age, identity, or any other data to access age-restricted features, including contact-information exchange between users. Detecting this will result in immediate removal of access to those features and may lead to suspension or cancellation of your account.

5. Use of contact information obtained in the app

Contact information you obtain from other users through Yetty may only be used for personal communication with that person. In particular, it's prohibited to collect it, publish it, disclose it to third parties, or use it for commercial or advertising purposes. Besides the technical daily-request limit, breaching this clause may lead to suspension or cancellation of your account.

6. Community content

  • Points of interest, photos, ratings, and alerts are published by users. By publishing them, you guarantee that you have the right to do so and grant Yetty a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display them within the service.
  • Content proposed for the public map goes through an approval process before becoming visible to the whole community. We may reject or remove content that breaches these terms, without that giving rise to any right to compensation.
  • Real-time alerts reflect what other travelers say they've seen; the community can confirm or deny them, but Yetty doesn't guarantee their accuracy.
  • It's prohibited to publish content that is illegal, defamatory, sexual, violent, impersonates others, infringes third-party rights (including image and intellectual property rights), or constitutes spam or unauthorized advertising.

7. Blocking, reporting, and moderation

  • You can block any user from their profile. Blocking prevents them from requesting contact from you again and automatically withdraws any accepted exchange. The blocked person isn't notified, and unblocking doesn't restore the contact.
  • You can report a user, independently of blocking, for harassment, sexual content, impersonation, spam, suspicion of being a minor, hate speech, or other reasons. Reports are logged for review.
  • We may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these terms, with immediate effect in serious cases.

8. Paw prints (internal currency)

"Paw prints" are an internal virtual currency earned by participating in the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, are not transferable outside the service, and may be adjusted or removed if obtained through cheating, abuse, or system errors. They are forfeited without compensation when you close your account.

9. AI-generated itineraries

Itineraries are generated automatically by artificial intelligence based on the data you enter. They are suggestions, not professional advice: schedules, prices, opening hours, and conditions at places may change or be inaccurate. Check important information (visas, safety, health, schedules) against official sources before traveling. Yetty is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of a generated itinerary.

You can report what the AI writes. If an itinerary contains anything offensive, discriminatory, sexual, violent, dangerous, or false, tell us from that trip's own menu, under Report AI text. We review these reports to correct how the system writes. Note that reporting doesn't modify the itinerary already generated for you.

9 bis. Advertising and users under 16

The application is funded by advertising. People under 16 are not shown ads based on their profile: their ads are contextual, and their advertising identifier is not used. This is applied automatically based on the declared date of birth, with nothing to turn on.

We chose 16 rather than the minimum registration age because the consent threshold isn't the same across the European Union — 14 in Spain, 15 in France, 16 in Germany and the Netherlands — and with a single figure, the only one that doesn't fall short in any country is the highest one.

9 ter. Availability and updating of these terms

These terms remain continuously accessible at this same address while the service is operational, which includes, for identification purposes required by article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services, the correspondence between Gonzalo Rodríguez Monterroso and Daniel Tijeras Casado, on one hand, and the contact address at Paseo de la Alameda de Osuna, 50, 28042 Madrid, Spain, and the tax identification numbers 06019673K and 05960150E, on the other, respectively and in that same order of mention.

10. Intellectual property

The app, the website, the Yetty name, the logo, and their designs belong to their owners. You may not copy them, decompile the app, scrape its content en masse, or use the service to build a competing one. Content published by users belongs to its authors, under the license described in section 6.

11. Availability and changes to the service

Yetty is offered "as is." We work to make it function well, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. We may modify, add, or remove features. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll announce it within the app before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that notice means accepting it.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yetty is not liable for damages arising from: content published by other users, interaction between users inside or outside the app (including another person's use of a contact you chose to share), inaccuracy of alerts or itineraries, or causes of force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be subject to the courts and tribunals that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer-protection regulations.
